Men’s snatch ladder prepped and ready. Beasts will be unleashed. 295# highest load. Holy crap that’s heavy. #getsome #snatch #snatchladder #crossfit #crossfitregionals (Taken with Instagram at 2012 SoCal Crossfit Regionals)

The team WOD was nuts. Wall balls and chinup hold, then carry your partner holding 70# for women/#100# for men, box jumps, then ring muscle ups. #crossfit #crossfitregionals (Taken with Instagram at 2012 SoCal Crossfit Regionals)
Hey everyone! I haven’t been posting as much because I’ve been really busy with school. Finals are here and I’m going to be honest and say that I haven’t been keeping up with healthy eating and exercising but I am getting back on track now!
My parents are both very health conscious and are very into Mixed Martial Arts and other fitness stuff like that. So this weekend, they took me and we watched the Cross Fit Regionals in Pomona!
If you don’t know what Cross FIt is then you should definitely check it out. Basically these athletes train all around everything and the day of competition they are assigned a certain number of random physical tasks to do.
So pretty much they don’t find out what they must do until the day of and they cannot train specifically for whatever it is. They must be ready for anything.
I was so motivated by the women competing and now I am more determined than ever to reach my fitness goals!
I guess it was a great wake up call.
I’ve been at 159 for a couple of weeks now.
What are some ways to get out of the plateau?
